After having time to let the dust from San Isidro settle I look back and think that the torero that I kind of want to keep my eye on, (I already knew that David Galvan was going to be a revelation,) is Ismael Martín.
For one, he places his own baderillas, and I noticed something about him that was different than the others. Even though Jarocho kind of stole the show on May 21st with a puerta grande, I was more interested in the ear that Ismael Martin cut.
It will be fun to watch him come up through the ranks which it seems he is doing nicely.
