Ever since I was a kid growing up in Ogden Utah back in the early 80's, I've been fascinated by the Spanish bullfight. I even searched out books on bullfighting at the Weber County library, where I found and read "Death in the Afternoon" by Ernest Hemingway. I'm probably the only kid in Utah to have ever read that book. Now here we are 40 years later and I still enjoy learning about and keeping up with the bullfights.

Barcial cumple 100 años con un cartel especial en Ceret

El próximo 6 de julio comenzará la feria de Ceret 2024 en la que está anunciada la ganadería de Barcial para la novillada matinal del domingo 7 de julio. están anunciados Mario Arruza, Jesús de la Calzada y Miguel Andrades. El hierro cumple cien años y para ello la organización ha hecho público el cartel oficial de la novillada de estilo antiguo y en colores de antaño.

Estos son los carteles de la Feria de Ceret 2024:

– S 06/07. Corrida de toros. Damián Castaño, Gómez del Pilar, Juan de Castilla (Sobral)

– D 07/07. Novillada matinal. Mario Arruza, Jesús de la Calzada, Miguel Andrades (Barcial)

– D 07/07. Corrida de toros. Fernando Robleño, Sergio Flores, Gómez del Pilar (José Escolar Gil)
