Ever since I was a kid growing up in Ogden Utah back in the early 80's, I've been fascinated by the Spanish bullfight. I even searched out books on bullfighting at the Weber County library, where I found and read "Death in the Afternoon" by Ernest Hemingway. I'm probably the only kid in Utah to have ever read that book. Now here we are 40 years later and I still enjoy learning about and keeping up with the bullfights.

Histórica tarde la de hoy en Las Ventas protagonizada por Diego Ventura, no solo por torear a caballo como el sabe hacerlo y cortar 3 Orejas, sino por protagonizar la despedida de uno de los caballos más toreros que se han visto sobre cualquier plaza de Toros conocido por todos como “NAZARÍ”.

Precioso detalle por parte del rejoneador, al hacer coincidir la despedida de tan grandioso caballo torero, con su última actuación en la 1ª plaza de Toros del mundo.

Gracias por todo NAZARÍ Y gracias Diego por mostrar una vez más el amor y respeto de la tauromaquia por los animales.
