Peñafiel, Valladolid
The Plaza del Coso of Peñafiel, declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1999, is a public space created in the Middle Ages to host bullfighting celebrations and continues to have that function today. The site consists of 48 buildings of two and three floors built in adobe, stone and wood, some materials that make up a rectangular space with two entrances, one in the north and one in the west. In the buildings of the Plaza del Coso there is an abundance of wooden balconies decorated with motifs such as leaves, flowers or fruits. These balconies become during the celebration of the Feast of Nuestra Señora and San Roque in boxes from which the owners of the right of view can see the bullfighting festivities.
Created for the celebration of bullfighting shows, it is used for other reasons throughout the year, such as the act of the Bajada del Ángel on Resurrection Sunday, a festival declared of National Tourist Interest.
The Plaza del Coso is a tourist attraction of first order in Peñafiel, but it is even more from August 14 to 18, dates in which the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora and San Roque, declared of Regional Tourist Interest, are celebrated. On the occasion of the festivities a ring is installed inside the square that allows the release of cattle in the style of the village, that is: with a bull inside the ring and another outside, a peculiarity that has been given to the parties of Peñafiel, a fame that transcends national borders.
In addition, Plaza del Coso has another peculiarity: it retains customary law, that is, based on the custom of 'right of views'. This servitude allows the owners of the balcony to contemplate the bullfighting celebrations from the balconies of the Plaza del Coso whether or not they are owners of the house.
The best way for the visitor to get an idea of what happens in the Plaza del Coso during the Fiestas de San Roque and Bajada del Ángel is entering Cosovisión, a space enabled in one of the houses in the square in the that a pleasant and exciting video of these two important events for the town is projected.

(turismosevilla.org)
Opened on 22 June 1905, it is one of the oldest bullrings in the province of Seville. It has a capacity for 2,380 people. Famous bullfighters have graced this arena, including Curro Romero, Paquirri, Pepe Luis Vázquez and the Peralta brothers.
The Saenz de Tejada Lopez family owned the bullring until 4 August 2002, when it was acquired by the Cantillana Town Council. The bullring is equipped with all the necessary elements to hold bullfights in compliance with European regulations.
The renovation carried in 2003 provided the infrastructure and urban facilities needed to bring it back to use after several years of neglect. Currently, in addition to bullfights, the venue is used for cultural events organised by local entities.
The people of Cantillana are bullfighting enthusiasts. Many bullfighters were born here, including Juan Solis Cantillana, Manolo Espinosa and Manuel Ruiz Manili. The latter was a famous bullfighter from Cantillana who had great success in the 1980s. Several times, he was carried out of the Las Ventas, Madrid’s bullring, in triumphant victory.
Although the town celebrates its festivals in August and September, the bullfighting festival in the century-old bullring takes place in February. The event consists of a bullfighting festival in which the proceeds are donated to various local Catholic charities to fund their social work.
